What we see in Chestermere homes

Chestermere has a higher share of large custom and semi-custom homes than most of the towns around Calgary, particularly through Kinniburgh, Rainbow Falls and the lakefront properties. That changes what we get asked for. These are homes with two-storey open entries, wide sightlines across the main floor, and often a full run of hardwood stairs visible from the front door — sometimes two staircases. The flooring is usually a premium wide-plank engineered product chosen specifically for its character, and the whole point of paying for that character is undermined by a stock stair nose in a colour that's merely adjacent. Larger homes also simply have more registers, so the multiplier on getting the vents right is bigger here than almost anywhere else we work.

Chestermere sits east of the city and our shop is at 262 Poplar Hill Drive in the northwest, so it's a run around on Stoney Trail — about half an hour. Your flooring comes to us and the finished pieces are collected from us; we don't deliver to site.
